15m Sunderland sun joins Leeds United, Leicester, Ipswich quartet in Championship XI of the season[19459000]
Were 19 activities into the 2023/24 Championship plan and the XI of the year is dominated by six notables from Leeds United, Leicester City and Ipswich.
This XI is based on WhoScoreds player ratings
GK:  , Vaclav Hladky ( Ipswich Town )
Kieran McKennas Ipswich Town are taking the Championship by storm and they are doing so without last seasons number one goalkeeper after Christian Walton suffered a serious foot injury before the 2023/24 campaign started.
Walton will have a job on his hands getting up into the team when he returns to full fitness as 32- year- ancient Hladky has slotted in effortlessly and kept six clear sheets for the Championship higher- flyers.
RB: Perry Ng ( Cardiff City )
Although Cardiff City have slipped out of the play- off picture in recent weeks, they have still played a blinder by appointing Erol Bulut, who has the Welsh outfit heading in the right direction following last seasons relegation battle.
Talented full- up Ng has carried on where he left off after winning Cardiffs in- home Player of the Year award last year as he continues to be their standout actor.
CB: Wesley Hoedt ( Watford )
The Hornets raised a few eyebrows when they gave their backing to manager Valerien Ismael by extending the former West Brom and Barnsley head coachs contract.
Up to now, this choice is bearing fruits as Watford who have one of the meanest defences in the sector are slowly edging themselves into play- off disagreement. Their upsurge in shape has seen Hoedt sneak into this XI and his 45- garden purpose against Hull City is enough to permit his participation on its own.

CB: Jannik Vestergaard ( Leicester City )
Enzo Maresca is spoilt for choice in the centre- back department ( as he is in every position, really ) and Vestergaard stepped up to fill the void left by injured pair Conor Coady and Callum Doyle.
Leicester City are better to their Championship foes in pretty much every office. Vestergaard is helping them lead the protective tables as the best backline in the group has just conceded 12 goals in 19 games.
LB: Leif Davis ( Ipswich Town )
Ipswich invested around 1m to snatch Davis from fellow Championship side Leeds United and this has proven to be a major coup.
After being included in previous seasons League One Team of the Year, the important 23- year- ancient like his brilliant team has enjoyed a dream start following his return to the Championship,  , grabbing nine assists in 18 games.
CM: Gabriel Sara ( Norwich City )
The Canaries splashed out 6m to snatch Sara from Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo last summer and he was one of their few standout performers in what was a disappointing campaign in 2022/23.
Norwich are also almost setting the world catch under David Wagner but Sara has carried on where he left off from last name. The heavy- lying player has been involved in 13 objectives in just 19 games so he is on for a remarkable period if this type continues.
CM: Kiernan Dewsbury- Hall ( Leicester City )
Having formerly shone for Luton Town at this stage, Dewsbury- Hall was expected to flame Leicester to campaign this year and he looks on record to do just that.   ,Six goals and seven assists in 19 outings is a great return for a player who has successfully stepped out from the shadow of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes.
RW: Crysencio Summerville ( Leeds United )
There was a mass overhaul at Leeds United in the summer. Prior to returning to the Championship, they sold a lot of bushes, but they did Summerville terrible properly. With venues in the Premier League and throughout Europe, Summerville, who has just under one aim presence per game in his 16 looks, is leading Leeds United’s promotion drive. A person who is too talented for this level has stupid statistics. Morgan Whittaker ( Plymouth Argyle ) and Bali Mumba from Swansea City and Norwich City, respectively, were signed by newly promoted Plymouth in the summer of 1965. It is hardly surprising that Whittaker and Mumba have undoubtedly been Steven Schumacher’s best performers.
This degree of investment was necessary to close the space from League One. Whittaker, in particular, has been outstanding since he scored an amazing eight objectives and three aids in 19 games, making him a candidate for the season’s filing. Sammie Szmodics, a Blackburn Rovers player, is expected to take his place in this XI in . The former Tottenham and Leeds player, Jack Clarke ( Sunderland ), can consider it unfortunate that he is not currently competing in the Premier League after being one of the Championship’s top players the previous season. In spite of his summer connections to Burnley and Crystal Palace, which are valued at around 15 meters, Clarke has performed at an even higher levels during the first half of this year, according to Football Insider[19504]. Sunderland is expected to be a front-runner for Player of the Year in the Final if he does not become wealthy on the wing in January. The decision by Leeds United to spend 36 million (add-ons included ) to sign Rutter from Bundesliga team Hoffenheim in January initially appeared to be the worst of the lot.
ST: Georginio Rust ( Leeds United ) ]
Rutter struggled next year for a struggling Leeds United team, but he has demonstrated this year that much can change quickly. The 21-year-old has made a few star-studded appearances this season, and as good as he has been, his partner Joel Piroe is hot on his feet in an effort to join this group. FEATURE:
