Liverpool faced French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the last-16 of all the Premier League teams, drawing them to the toughest las-16 draw on paper.
Aston Villa and Atalantas conquerors Club Brugge were tied, and Arsenal, the Premier League’s second-placed team, faced Dutch PSV Eindhoven. Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will face off in a significant derby match, while Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen will face off in the other notable Champions League ties.

When asked if Real Madrid should be regarded as the favorites, Shearer replied,” Yes, I would put them favorites.” Without a doubt. With such a high level of talent and chance, Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Kylian Mbappe all having the same group, Shearer said,” It must be a dream, a cure, for those people.” True Madrid are therefore unquestionably my favorite team to win. Shearer continued,” The three or four of them are excellent at movement, but if Vinicius Junior wants to play in the middle, Kylian will go out large.”
They are all equally as good wherever they are.
Say what you want about the defending. You can’t give someone the space they did, and Manchester City’s defense was sometimes terrible.
